Home School Links

The school seeks to establish strong links between home and school and parents are encouraged to recognise the important role they have to play as partners in their child's education.

Through the use of the Home/School diary, Harvest Assembly, Christmas Play, Annual Prize-Giving Morning and other school events our parents are encouraged to play an active part in the life of the school.

Parents are encouraged to participate in the drawing up of their child's Education Plan and maintain contact between home and school throughout the school year.

Opportunities for parents to meet with teachers and other school staff to discuss their child's progress are arranged on a regular basis.

Parents are also invited to contribute to the Annual Review, Transition Plan and Post Transition Annual Review of their child's Statement of Special Educational Needs.

Information on the school rules is brought to the attention of pupils and parents through the Behaviour Policy.
